UMLand City Gallery Launching

Yesterday, on Teacher's Day, we did a performance for the launching of UMLand City Gallery at Traders Hotel Puteri Habour in Nusajaya Johor.  It was a long day for all of us, we played for the arrivals of guests and the VIPs to the ballroom, and we played during their dinner time.  We played selections of popular music such as My Way, Funky Town, Top of the World and something closer to home such as songs by P.Ramlee like Malam Bulan Di Pagar Bintang and Getaran Jiwa to Yuna's Terukir Di Bintang.

It was a long day for all of us involved, we left very early on the 16th and arrived at Traders Hotel at 1pm, where we had our lunch, and did a little run through to test the space and the balance.  Later in the evening, we performed for the event while the guests were arriving until the VIPs arrived.  Then, we played again while the VIPs were having their dinner.  The event went well, we heard positive feedback.  We are happy to get to be part of the event and we would like to thank those who put their trust on us to provide them with some music for the event.

Finally, we would like thank, again, to Umar (viola) and Ershad (cello) to sit in for Wei Yi and Jennifer who could not make it to this event for unavoidable circumstances.  You pretty much saved the day for us!  Thank you ^_^

Congratulation to Jennifer Lim, our beloved cellist!

We are terribly sorry for leaving this blog unattended for such a long time.

However, we have an announcement to make.

Our beloved cellist of Strings Attached, will be furthering her studies in Yong Siew Toh Conservatory in Singapore this year.

It is a good institution for aspiring music students, and she absolutely deserve to be there as she is a hardworking and talented cellist.

Of course, we will miss having her around in our quartet, but truly, this will be an amazing start to a wonderful journey in her music career and we wish her nothing but success for her future.

September 22 & 23 - Vic and Soni Wedding Day

On September 22, 2012 was a historical day for Puteri Nurul Munira Mohd Fuad and Jamsaini Hashim, or also known as Vic and Soni.  It was their wedding day and the Strings Attached was there to bring in some lovely music for their solemnization ceremony.  The event was held at Felda Villa, Kuala Lumpur.  

On September 23, 2012 was their wedding reception which was held at the Crown Plaza Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.  It was a simple yet glamorous night for the newly wed and again the Strings Attached was there to entertain the guests as they were enjoying their dinner.

Congratulations to Vic and Soni and hopefully their love for each other will continue to grow through any obstacles in life and may the both of you build wonderful family together.  Last but not least, thank you for having us to be part of your special day.  Have a wonderful life in the future, cheers~♥

Updates

As you can see, there's a video now available on this blog for you to watch.  The playlist only consist of three songs for now, but more will come in the future, no worries.  The three songs that we recorded will be:
